A blooming flower Fills the room Thanks to long shadows Cast by late afternoon Rising high like a skyscraper But easy as a laugh This girl she grows and grows Up, up, up I’ll stretch my hands, let me know if you can come I’d love to have you dancing close A blooming flower Fills the room Thanks to long shadows Cast by late afternoon Rising high like a skyscraper But easy as a laugh This girl she grows and grows Up, up, up Did you notice how the trees keep time? Come on let’s not waste it Stretch, stretch, up! Touch! A blooming flower Fills the room Thanks to long shadows Cast by late afternoon Rising high like a skyscraper But easy as a laugh This girl she grows and grows Up, up, up Oh...

Mustard Seed 03:14
The little mustard seed Can hardly be seen But when it grows It’s like a tree So too your faith In time will grow If you sow Your life in love The Kingdom of God Is like the seed When it grows It’s like a tree Birds of the air Nest in her leaves The Kingdom of God Is like the seed The Kingdom of God Is like the field In the Spring Wheat seeds will fill At harvest time The barns will brim Bundles of wheat Apart from weeds Teacher can you tell me, What does it mean? You speak in riddles We don’t perceive What do you mean, That I must die For to gain Eternal life

If you’re lonely, don’t tell me If you’re lonely, don’t cry to me For I’ve been lonely too I’m not going back through that door Have you ever seen a face of pure joy? Well, I have Have you heard a heart sing? Well, I have—I have. If I’m crying, don’t mind me If I’m crying, let me be For I get lonely too I’m just passing back through that door Have you ever been forgiven before you could ask? Well, I have Have you ever found the most difficult task is to be loved? Well, I have If I’m lonely, don’t cry for me And if I’m crying, let me be For I’ve seen glory too And I don’t mind going through that door Have you ever seen the sunrise like a holiday? Did you raise your arms up and offer praise? When the first light hit your face, Did your eyes fill with tears from the grace? Of the miracle of another day Of the miracle of another day Of the miracle of another day

Wild Hearts 04:28
I was always lost, didn’t want to be found But you found me, you found me I was always dreaming, head up in the clouds You pulled me down, you gave me ground You gave me ground, ground, whoa oh They say wild hearts can’t be broken Wild hearts can’t be broken But I’m breaking I’m going down How do I know? Can I trust that it’s real? I feel seen, I feel seen What is this love like? Where is the proof? It’s like having the sun Come and live in your room They say wild hearts can’t be broken Wild hearts can’t be broken But I’m breaking I’m going down

O Lover! 06:00
O Lover! Reveal your face to mine O Lover! You are a taste of the divine Lover of mine O Lover! You are a stranger to me O Lover! Closer than myself to me So close to me It’s hard to see so close to me Rejoice! The days of shame are over! So come on, Lover, come on over! We are the blessed vessels, we are the blessed vessels We are, we are, we are O Lover, come on and come a little closer I want to see you to know you better Don’t hide your face from me I want to see you in your Glory! In your Glory! In your Glory! In your Glory! Lover, please come over Lover, come on over O Lover ! Tell your name to me O Lover! I long to call it tenderly I could call you tenderly Rejoice! The days of shame are over! So come on, Lover, come on over! We are the blessed vessels, we are the blessed vessels We are, we are, we are In our Glory! In our Glory! In our Glory! In our Glory! Lover, please come over Lover, come on over!

No moon tonight Only stars I can’t sleep So I keep writing That old moon went off and Ran away again Left a dark room Where her light had been She left me here with a Heavy heart Wishing you’d come out and Sing with me Come out tonight, won’t you Come out tonight Come out tonight and sing with me Come out tonight, won’t you Come out tonight Just for a little bit to sing with me I slipped out of bed You never stirred I can’t sleep When I feel blue All the lights of the city Don’t comfort me The way I need you to I know we fought in the kitchen A few hours ago But if you could just let it go To come sing with me Come out tonight, won’t you Come out tonight Come out tonight and sing with me Come out tonight, won’t you Come out tonight Just for a little bit to sing with me I promise it won’t take long, you’ll go back to sleep Just for a little bit sing with me I promise it won’t take long, you’ll go back to sleep Just for a little bit, just for a little bit Sing with me Oh, oh, sing with me!

Pity 03:58
He didn’t want my pity He didn’t need my tears But I had a sad song Ringing in my ears He didn’t want my crying eyes He didn’t need me to sympathize He sang the blues to show me how He learned to fly I wanted to see a broken life Instead of a phoenix in the fire I was looking for my own pain in his eyes So I missed the phoenix in the fire So I missed the phoenix in the fire I had to hide my heart I had to clear my throat I had to marvel at the man fishing in his sinking boat With his shining face raised to the sky Thanking God for the good things in his life Now tell me, who’s the fool He or I? To see the ashes or salvation in the fire? I wanted to see a broken life Instead of a phoenix in the fire I was looking for my own pain in his eyes So I missed the phoenix in the fire So I missed the phoenix in the fire He didn’t try to change my mind Never compared his lot to mine I could tell he was amused by my surprise To meet a battered man with joy in his eyes Now tell me, who’s the fool He or I? To see the wreckage or the glory when we die? I wanted to see a broken life Instead of a phoenix in the fire I was looking for my own pain in his eyes So I missed the phoenix in the fire So I missed the phoenix in the fire

Will 03:53
My Lord told me, Love even your enemies, But sometimes my enemy is me My Lord told me, Love even your enemies, But sometimes my enemy is me Put the cart before the horse Count your chickens fast Cause there’s no earthly way This love will last But if I will, And you will, Then we will We’ll last! But if I will, And you will, Then we will We’ll last! Read some books by Peck and Freud Read the Bible too Seems that love’s the only thing That depends on you But I’ve got bad habits I can’t kick Just when things start heating up I tend to quit But if I will, And you will, Then we will We’ll last! But if I will, And you will, Then we will We’ll last! But if I will, Put the cart before the horse! And you will, Count your chickens fast! Then we will There’s no earthly way We’ll last! This love will last! But if I will, I've got bad habits! And you will, I can’t kick! Then we will just when things start heating up We’ll last! I tend to quit! But if I will, And you will, Then we will We’ll last!

The Red Sun 05:27
The train heads North While the past stays South The red sun going down beside us The red sun burning down beside us It was light when we left Now here in the dark We’re making our way Home So sleep while you can, Love, I’ll be the one To watch how the lands they change To watch how the lands they change It’s a soft divide to my tired eyes Farms, rivers and fields and cable lines Farms, rivers and fields and cable lines Tomorrow we’ll wake in a new land We’ll have to step down from the tracks But I’ll be alright Yes, I swear I’ll be fine Just don’t let go of my hand In the dark of the train Or the brightness of day Please don’t let go of my hand Please don’t let go of my hand The train heads North While the past stays South The red sun going down beside us The red sun burning down beside us We slept to the West We woke to the East Watched the herons settle in the stream I fly like a hawk Above it all Watch the towns and the bridges so small All the towns and the bridges so small In each of the four directions I remembered to call out my name Cause I want my soul Yes, I need my soul To follow me here on this train To find me here on this train Tomorrow we’ll wake in a new land We’ll have to step down from the tracks But I’ll be alright Yes, I swear I’ll be fine Just don’t let go of my hand In the dark of the train Or the brightness of day Please don’t let go of my hand Please don’t let go of my hand The train heads North While the past stays South The red sun going down beside us The red sun burning down beside us

O Setting Sun! Come to us now, Your Kingdom come O Radiant Dawn! O Setting Sun! about

This is a romantic album.

Allison Beyer sings songs that she wrote during the nearly 4 years that she lived in Cochabamba, Bolivia, accompanied by her dear friend Claire Hitchins. She recorded this collection of songs as an act of gratitude for lessons learned and graces received from her time in Cochabamba.

This album is Allison's first studio recorded work. The album was originally planned to be recorded featuring only Allison and Claire, but quickly and organically snowballed into an intercultural, creative collaboration with various friends and strangers met along the way.

Allison considers this album the first step in her lifelong pursuit of creating honest and beautiful music; she plans to record and release another album soon with the knowledge and insight that she gained through this recording experience.

Allison hopes that you will enjoy her music. Es decir que espera que su música les toque el corazón. She is excited to release this album on the same day as the Full Harvest Moon! You certainly do reap what you sow, and Allison is very glad to share the fruit of her labor with you.
